Hi, we're Ben and Emily — the husband-and-wife team behind Fab Horse Wear, a small handmade horse tack business built right here in Michigan.

Life out here revolves around family, hard work, and horses. When we're not in the shop, you'll find us with our four horses, our dog, and our kids — keeping life full and busy the way we like it.

Why We Started Fab Horse Wear

We started making tack because we couldn't find gear that was both built to last and actually affordable. Everything we make — halters, breast collars, reins, cinches, lead ropes, headstalls, and more — is handcrafted one piece at a time using materials we trust: mule tape, 100% mohair, leather, and paracord.

We use this tack ourselves. Our horses wear it on trails, in training, and in the arena. So when we say it's built tough, we mean it — every strand is braided and dyed with care, and nothing leaves our shop unless we'd put it on our own horses.

Handmade in Michigan

Every piece is made by hand in Michigan. No factories. No shortcuts. Just a husband and wife who love horses and love making things that work. We're proud to be a small, family-run business — and we take that seriously in everything we do.

Most of our products are fully customizable. Want a specific color, size, or style? Just ask. Creating custom gear for our customers is one of our favorite parts of this business.
